The family at a glance
ATK lists two related headset pages. The original Neptune N9 comes as N9 Pro and N9 Ultra. The newer Neptune N9 V2 keeps the Pro and Ultra names and adds a third, Ultimate tier. Across the pages, ATK describes the same core design: oversized 53 mm drivers, a lightweight body of roughly 270 g, a 1,500 mAh battery and four ways to connect.
The store's V2 specification list gives a 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, adjustable virtual 7.1 surround, protein-leather ear cushions and a detachable omni-directional AI noise-cancelling microphone. Connectivity covers 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, USB audio and a 3.5 mm wired cable, with listed compatibility for PC, Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5.

Strengths on paper
- Four connection modes, including a wired fallback.
- Long listed battery life of up to 130 hours on the V2 page.
- Detachable microphone, so it can double as a headphone.
- Low entry prices compared with the struck-through list prices.
- Broad listed platform support, from PC to consoles and phones.
Watch-outs
- The official text does not explain exactly how Ultra and Ultimate differ beyond colours and price.
- Latency and battery numbers are vendor figures; we have not verified them.
- Sale prices and gift offers are time-limited.
- Two similar listings (N9 and N9 V2) can be confusing; check the model name before buying.
Who should choose which
Budget-first players can look at the Pro: the specification sheet shows the same battery, microphone and connection list as the dearer tiers. Players who care about the driver material will note that only Ultra and Ultimate are listed with titanium-coated diaphragms. Colour hunters get the widest choice from Ultra, which spans purple, orange and blue on the V2 page. Because the V2 line is newer, it is the more natural starting point if you do not need the original's slightly lower sale price.
